Shoe Shopping in Nelson city today – sometimes you just can’t avoid the mass franchise shops.

On the way home from visiting friends tonight we drove past a blackcurrant orchard with a sign out the front “Pick Your Own Blueberries – Free” – how could we resist!

Although they sometimes argue in the bath, and most of the bath water ends up on the floor, these two often have moments nice moments too – like enjoying a head massage from the younger sister.

Bedtime Story

2012 marks the change of many things within our family including moving cities and all the things that come with that. Leaving old friends behind, reconnecting and making new ones, exploring our new city and refamiliarising ourselves with special spots and memories. When we left this city six years ago we were a brand new family of three about to move to a bigger city in search of ourselves, we return a family of four soon to be five, and although there’s still much to know about ourselves we are a little more schooled than before and have a clearer idea of the direction we’re heading. So with that in mind I didn’t make any new years resolutions last night but instead thought I would reconnect with myself through my camera to chart my year. I’d like to post a photo a day documenting the small moments that in the end make up a significant moment in time to me.
