Adaptdefy’s Lapstacker Crowdfunding Campaign
Adaptdefy’s mission is to increase freedom for wheelchair users by connecting and highlighting a global community of Adaptdefiers and developing products that help them adapt and defy, led by Founder Mike Brown.
The ‘Lapstacker’ is the world’s first retractable strap system for wheelchairs, and was Adaptdefy’s first product to launch successfully through Kickstarter in 2019. The Lapstacker allows wheelchair users to keep their hands free to push, while securing items to their lap - helping them to carry items safely.
Narrative were super proud to help Mike and his team with their crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. With a minimum target of $15,000, they successfully raised $40,075, thanks to getting their messaging right from the outset and hyping up their crowd.
